God Spoke to me....

God is always on your side, even when things don't make sense.

Are you ready for racing?

As some of you know, Robert enjoys racing his cars. They are truly nitro gas cars that go about 45mph.
He was in a 3 day race this past weekend and did very well. I have to brag about him because he received a plaque for 3rd place. I wanted to share some pictures I took of him. I hope you enjoy.

Amarillo Texas Weather

While I was driving to work yesterday morning we had beautiful sunshine. By 9:00am we had cloudy skies with blowing snow. We closed our office early yesterday and this morning I woke up 7 inches of snow. All the schools in Amarillo are closed and on top of that I can't leave my house. We are snowed in badly.
We never know what to expect in Amarillo with our weather but this time the "Weather Men" spotted this storm quickly and "They were right"!!!

What Heaven Looks Like

The Throne of Heaven

  After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”  At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it.  And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper and ruby. A rainbow that shone like an emerald encircled the throne.  Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty-four elders. They were dressed in white and had crowns of gold on their heads.  From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder. In front of the throne, seven lamps were blazing. These are the seven spirits^] of God.  Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal.
   In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back. ⁷ The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle. ⁸ Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying:
   “‘Holy, holy, holy
   is the Lord God Almighty,
   who was, and is, and is to come.”
  Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever,  the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:
  “You are worthy, our Lord and God,
   to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
   and by your will they were created
   and have their being.”

The Passage Broken Down
-This scene in  Revelation implicates the entire universe as utterly, unapologetically.
Theocentric means: Theo: God Centric: Centerness
Every element and creature is described in direct relationship to the throne.

John (Jesus Brother)'s vision of the Throne Room is consistent with several other in scripture.
-Two Examples are: A Rainbow (Ez 1:28)
                            "Four Living Creatures, A lion, A Ox, A Man, A Eagle" (Ez 1:5 for the same description and number and Isaiah 6:2 for the living creatures in the same distinct roll.)

-God never leaves his Throne. If He moves, His whole Throne moves
There is not moon or sun in Heaven because Jesus states that he will brigther.

-There are 24 elders. 24 priests to attend the Temple.
-There is "What looked like a Sea of Glass"
-The sea has beautiful symbols. Calmness, Being still

-The seven spirits:
     Seven Spirits and Seven Stars
     The Golden Candlestick
     "After This"
     The Twenty-Four Elders
     Seven Torches of Fire
There is no description of God, Only which surrounds him.
We do not know what God looks like.

This is true. I did not make this up. It is in our Treasure Chest (Our Bible).

We need to turn our eyes to what He really did for us. Without him we would not have the privilege to experience what Jesus is making for us in Heaven right now.

Birthday Verse

My faith is very strong with our Lord Jesus. Jesus plans out  each day  he has it read.y for us, long before we rise from bed. He also provides the strength we will need each step of the way. Sometimes we wander where he is when we call to him but I promise he is with you guiding you right through the situation. Jesus is our shield and our strength

Mark 12:30 NIV
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.'

Jesus Christ is my everything. Love him and you will feel his unconditional love. I promise. It is a promise He has promised us.

Call to him and he will be there!

John 14:1-4 Jesus Tells His Disciples

1 "Μην επιτρέψετε σας Κούπες είναι ταραγμένα. Πιστεύετε στον Θεό  · Πιστεύω επίσης σε εμένα. 2 Το Σώμα του πατέρα μου έχει πολλούς χώρους- Εάν δεν ήταν έτσι, θα σας είπα ότι πάω εκεί να προετοιμάσει ένα τόπο για εσάς; 3 Και εάν μεταβείτε και προετοιμάσει μια θέση για σένα, θα επανέλθει και θα αναλάβει να είστε μαζί μου ότι επίσης ενδέχεται να όπου είμαι. 4 Γνωρίζετε τον τρόπο για τον τόπο όπου θα αναθέσω.

 

I know what is going on through your mind? What is this? This isn't english? What does this say or mean?

Okay, I will tell you that is Greek. I can read and speak Greek. It is so amazing how to different languages can be the same meaning.

 

This passage comes out of John 14:1-4

 The English meaning is this:

 1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”

 

We need to remember that our heavenly father has many rooms in his house. He has told us many of times that he is preparing a special place for us so, when the time does come that He calls us home, We will have a special place with Him. We know where we are going. No need to worry because all our loved one's that has gone before us will be at the Gates of Heaven waiting for us to walk in. We will be sitting at the right side of Jesus. Oh, What a day that will be. He is preparing a room for us. Be prepared because we don't know when that special time will be that He calls us home forever!!!

 

Make your time on Earth special. We won't be here forever. Live like their is no tomorow!!!

Not Alone

When I was reading my bible this morning Jesus really spoke to me on how I need to look at my days. Don't expect the worse. He is in total control. We do not walk alone during our everyday journey. We walk with our father, Abba (Daddy). All of us need to remember that Jesus is leading our days. He knows how our day will contain, whereas we have only vague ideas about it. We would feel more prepared if we could somehow visualize what is on the road ahead. However, there is a much better way to be prepared for whatever you will encounter today. Spend quality time with Jesus. He will not show us what is on our road ahead, He will thoroughly equip you for your journey. Stay in continual communication with him. Whisper his Name and he will redirect your thoughts. You can walk through this day with your focus on Him. His abiding presense is the best road map available.

I love these scriptures of what Jesus says he will do for us. "My presense will go with you. I will give you rest." Exodus 33:14
